Luke Murphy, PhD is a consultant at Back Bay Life Science Advisors. He has worked in various areas of translational medicine, including genetics and metabolism of aging, neurodegenerative disease, and the rare disease space.
Before joining Back Bay, Dr. Murphy earned his PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard University, where he investigated the role of riboflavin-dependent genetic circuits on longevity in C. elegans. During his graduate studies, Luke served as a fellow at NuCyRNA Therapeutics and Alacrita Consulting and led the Harvard Biotech Club’s incubator program, where scientific trainees advise early-stage therapeutics companies in due diligence, product profiling, competitive landscaping, and revenue modeling.
Dr. Murphy also holds a BS in Bioengineering from Stanford University.
