Haley Hashemi

Haley Hashemi is a consultant at Back Bay Life Science Advisors in the Boston office. Prior to joining Back Bay, she was a medical affairs strategy consultant for biotech and pharmaceutical organizations with a focus on supporting assets in the oncology, neurology, and rare disease space.
Ms. Hashemi has over 6 years of translational laboratory experience and has held research positions in the academic and biotech industry. Her research has focused on advancing both the therapeutic development and molecular understanding of difficult-to-treat diseases, such as hematologic malignancies, prostate cancer, and degenerative eye disorders.
Ms. Hashemi received her B.S in neuroscience from Brandeis University and an M.S. in biomedical sciences with a focus in cancer biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
